This pencil drawing of Jesus that I named “Sacred King” is deeply meaningful to me, not just as an artistic study but as an expression of my faith and reverence for Christ. As I worked on each detail—the sorrow in His eyes, the weight of the crown of thorns, the softness of His hair—I felt a profound connection to His suffering and sacrifice. This drawing of Jesus, inspired by a renowned sculpture, represents both my artistic journey and my faith. My goal for this piece is to invite people to pause, reflect, and feel the weight of His love and sacrifice. He is a sacred king and the most sacred friend. I also added the beginning sketch process. His love is too great.
